Guestbook messages and replies. When a visitor voluntarily provides an email address, it remains private and is used solely to notify them of a reply from Cyrille Silvestre. The personal link sent by email allows the conversation to continue without creating an account. Replies are moderated before publication, and the address and conversation may be deleted on request.

Personal data
Information submitted through the contact form, namely name, email address and message, is used solely to answer your request. It is neither sold nor disclosed to third parties for commercial purposes.
It is accessible only to Cyrille Silvestre and retained for as long as necessary to process the request, then for no more than twelve months after the last exchange unless a different legal obligation applies.
Guestbook contributions may include the author’s chosen name or signature, message and, where used on mobile, photograph. They remain private until moderated and become public only after approval. Images are resized and re-encoded to remove metadata. Authors may request removal at any time. A non-reversible fingerprint of the IP address is used to prevent abuse; the IP address itself is never stored in plain text.
The Like button uses a random identifier stored in a functional cookie for one year to remember a visitor’s choice without requiring an account. A non-reversible IP fingerprint is used solely to limit abuse, and associated technical events are deleted after two days.
Under the GDPR and French data-protection law, you may request access, correction, deletion or restriction of your data and object to its processing. Contact contact@msieurc.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL.
