It was during our studies in applied arts that I met Quentin Aldhui. He was in tenth grade, I was in twelfth grade, we followed the same creative path, until joining the same BTS in product design in Marseille. Since then, Quentin has continually improved and evolved to become thetattoo artist and illustrator respected as he is today. His work is imbued with mastery and authenticity, a true testament to his passion and artistic commitment.
The art of tattooing: a language in black and light

A tattoo artist for over fifteen years, Quentin has managed to impose his unique style in the tattoo world. Co-founder of a studio in Lyon, he also regularly travels for guest sessions in various salons across France and Europe. What sets him apart is his ability to merge different techniques such as engraving, the Dotwork, the Fineline and the Whip Shading, thus creating very organic textures. Inspired by nature, his compositions, often very detailed, depict animals, plants, bones, and minerals, each work imbued with an almost mystical depth, where light and contrasts play an essential role.

Each dot, each line, is one more step to reveal the light.
Illustrator for artists and influential brands

Beyond tattooing, Quentin also excels in illustration. He has collaborated with musical artists such as Chelsea Wolfe, Madball, Dillinger Escape Plan, Terror or even Medina. His talent also extends to prestigious brands such as Puma and Monster Energy, or more underground labels like Crève Clothing. These collaborations demonstrate his versatility and his ability to adapt to various worlds while maintaining a strong and recognizable visual identity.
A deep commitment to nature and social causes

In addition to his artistic talents, Quentin Aldhui is deeply committed to the defense of nature and social causes. A convinced vegan, he associates his lifestyle with his ethical beliefs, particularly for animal welfare and environmental preservation. This commitment is reflected in his creations, where fauna and flora are often highlighted. His personal choices reflect a strong stance against animal cruelty and overconsumption, a commitment that he also carries in his tattoo studio, by promoting vegan inks and by minimizing the environmental footprint of his activity. Quentin also supports humanitarian causes, actively participating in charitable or awareness projects, notably through collaborations with associations. For him, art is a tool for transformation and awareness.
An aesthetic inspired by nature

As you will have understood, one of Quentin's main sources of inspiration is nature. His tattoos and illustrations are often populated with animal creatures or plant landscapes, to which he gives life through his detailed and precise style. His ability to capture the essence of living beings through his different styles gives his creations an almost dreamlike power, where every dot tells a story, every line reveals a secret. His works transport into worlds where nature reclaims its rights, sublimated by art.
A work blending passion, precision, and emotions

The precision of his line is exemplary. In this work, Quentin shows us a gaunt skull, whose eye sockets are two yellow smiley faces. A striking contrast between death and joy, where the finesse of the black and the striated lines highlights a message that is both dark and ironic. This illustration is proof of his technical mastery and his ability to evoke complex emotions through visuals that are simple but powerful. The contrast between the elements reflects his artistic vision: light cannot be revealed without darkness.
Art in the service of a quest for truth

Quentin Aldhui is more than just a tattoo artist and illustrator, he is a creator whose journey is inspiring. From our first meeting to today, I have seen his art evolve, mature, and capture universal truths through the precision of his dots and lines. His passion for architecture, music, nature, and even Korean culture shines through in every work he creates. Quentin embodies a perpetual quest for light through darkness, and this is evident in each of his projects.
